TASFAA Scholarships
Educational Scholarship for a TASFAA Member
The Association of Texas Leaders for Education-TASFAA endowed scholarship is awarded to a current TASFAA member who is pursuing a degree and enrolled at least half-time during the upcoming fall term at an accredited Texas college, university, or technical school. The deadline to apply is March 15, 2026.
The ATLE-TASFAA scholarship is designed to support TASFAA members continuing their education while serving students across Texas.
Eligibility Highlights:
- Current TASFAA member.
- Intent to enroll at least half-time at an accredited Texas institution.
- Enrollment with the goal of earning a degree.
- Demonstrated service to TASFAA or the community.
- Positive reference from an employer, community leader, or TASFAA leader.
- Preference given to individuals working in financial aid.
ATLE also provides a scholarship for Texas resident graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue postsecondary education at a Texas Institution.
Eligibility Highlights:
- Graduating high school senior.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Demonstrated service to school and community
- Financial need may be considered
- Intent to enroll full-time at an accredited Texas college, university, or technical school
- Strong personal, school, and community references
Mack C. Adams Scholarship
The Mack C. Adams professional development scholarship was created to assist financial aid professionals’ financial participation in professional opportunities. Mack C. Adams was instrumental in creating the Texas Association of Student Financial Administrators (TASFAA) and served as its first president from 1968 to 1969. He continued to serve the Association as a member until his retirement in July 1995.
