From the Candidate:

I am a Financial Aid Verification Analyst at Sam Houston State University with a strong commitment to supporting student access and success. Since joining TASFAA in 2023, I have actively engaged in professional development opportunities and training conferences to expand my knowledge and strengthen my contributions to the financial aid community.

I am running for Board Member at Large to give back to a profession that has allowed me to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives. I am passionate about helping students and families navigate the financial aid process and have led outreach efforts, including FAFSA orientations and advising sessions, to improve understanding and access to aid.

TASFAA members should know that I am a collaborative, service-driven professional who values communication, continuous learning, and member engagement. With NASFAA credentials in key areas of financial aid and ongoing leadership development through the TRAIL program, I am committed to supporting my peers, sharing knowledge, and contributing to initiatives aligned with TASFAA’s mission to advance student access and professional excellence.

I would be honored to serve TASFAA in this role and contribute to the continued growth and strength of our community.
