Words From the Candidate (why do you want this role?)

It is truly an honor to be nominated as a TASFAA Board member. I have admired TASFAA's mission from the first time I attended the New Aid Officers Workshop. I recognized the selfless service of the training committee and was hooked from there. Ever since joining the training committee and attending the TASFAA board meetings, I have been deeply invested in the mission and conversations held. To be an active partner in TASFAA's decision-making for all of its committees would be an opportunity for me to serve the board of directors in ensuring the ethics and practices of Texas's financial aid career field thrive.
