From the Candidate:

Rebecca is the Director of Financial Aid at Texas State University and has worked in financial aid for 18 years, serving both the public and private sectors. In her tenure, she has served in multiple roles within the financial aid community including serving as the 2022-2023 Chair of the TASFAA Governance and Compliance Committee and she also has served for many years as a facilitator of the Financial Aid Audit & Compliance Professionals (FAACP) group of Texas schools. Rebecca’s favorite part of working in financial aid is helping students and consistently being challenged with new learning opportunities each day. She believes our profession must lean into each other to navigate the ever-changing landscape of financial aid administration, which is exactly why she would like to serve on the Board. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys hunting and exploring the great outdoors with her family.
