From the Candidate:

I’m incredibly honored to be nominated for a seat on the TASFAA Board. I’ve worked in Financial Aid for almost a decade, and have grown immensely since I first started. As an Associate Director especially, I’ve learned that what becomes most fruitful is helping others grow in their own journeys. Having a seat on the TASFAA Board would help me do that in a whole new way. Listening to other ideas and implementing their plans is incredibly valuable and important to me. Doing it as part of the TASFAA Board would be a huge honor and great learning experience. In the few short years I’ve participated in TASFAA, I’ve met amazing people and have learned so much about them and their institutions. Bringing our membership together is important, and it’s something I want to be part of. I’m more than happy to be that support for them, that ear, and to rally for others. For myself, this would be a whole new journey and network I get to be part of and learn about.
