HALL OF FAME

back to TASFAA Time Capsule

The TASFAA Hall of Fame is an honorary group of current or former financial aid administrators who served in Texas and who have been designated by TASFAA as having been exceptional in their dedication and service to TASFAA and the students of Texas. The purpose of the Hall of Fame Award is to honor our colleagues, especially those who are no longer active, so their dedication and service will not be forgotten. Membership in the Hall of Fame is permanent. Members are featured on the TASFAA web site and in the Directory.

The Awards Committee selects the honoree each year from nominations received and, after the Board of Director's approval, the President inducts the honoree into the Hall of Fame at the fall conference. The first honorees were inducted into the TASFAA Hall of fame in October 1995. As members are inducted, their names are added to the Permanent HOF Plaque and at the time of induction receives:

  • a diamond studded, gold lapel pin that bears the name, TASFAA above the abbreviation, HOF.
  • a plaque confirming his or her membership
  • a life-time waiver of the TASFAA Fall Conference Fee
  • a life-time copy of the TASFAA Newsletter
