How did you get started in the financial aid industry?
I started in the financial aid industry as a financial aid advisor.

What do you find most challenging about the financial aid industry?
The most challenging thing would be the balancing act staying one step ahead of regulation changes.

What do you find most rewarding about the financial aid industry?
That financial aid industry is ever changing.

Just about everyone in the industry has a funny financial aid story or student question. What’s your funny story?
A student had a hold on their account because of Library fines. When he called to check the hold, he informed us that he did not pay it because he thought the Library fine was not a real charge.

Occasionally we like to call upon our colleagues for advice or guidance on a particular issue or process. Do you have any financial aid tidbits for our TASFAA membership?
No.

Okay, one last question….can you share with us something about yourself that no else might know about you?
I am a predictable person so I honestly cannot think of anything.
