The SWASFAA/SASFAA Mid-Level Financial Aid Workshop 3-day agenda is jam-packed with professional development and operational sessions being presented by seasoned financial aid administrators, professional speakers, and representatives from the U.S. Department of Education and the Office of Inspector General. I hope if you want to attend, you will have already registered since it is anticipated by the time you are reading this newsletter the registration will be full.

The Conference and Local Arrangements committees are planning an exciting SWASFAA conference at a resort that is not only beautiful but will provide a restful respite with the available spa amenities from our everyday jobs. The resort is 20-25 minutes from the Albuquerque airport. The hotel will provide round-trip shuttle service for $40. Outstanding session speakers have been confirmed along with invitations to present extended to Jeff Baker and Dallas Martin. Room rates will be $128 per night. You should soon be able to make reservations—watch for the posting to SWASFAA list serve. Start planning now to meet your SWASFAA colleagues and have a great conference!
