TASFAA High School Partnership Committee

We have completed all of the high school counselor workshops around the state for the 2004/05 school year. With the help of our host institutions, we have helped some 2155 high school counselors, middle school counselors, trio program staff, and school district financial aid officers. These people will assist more than 70,000 Texas students and parents this year! These are good figures, but we can do better! We would like to host more workshops next year, particularly in the metropolitan areas of San Antonio and Dallas. We already plan to have three workshops in Houston for the 2005/06 school year. The committee has already begun their work for next year. Be waiting for a call to host again or to host for the first time!!

Our workbook that is updated on a yearly basis and given out at the workshops is being sent to NASFAA by the TASFAA Public Relations Committee for the national award competition. Please give support to this project for possible national recognition. It was recognized by TASFAA this past fall as a state award.
