SWASFAA
Update Mark your calendars for:
I was greatly honored when asked to complete Rick Renshaw’s unexpired term of Texas Delegate-at-Large on the SWASFAA Board. Since he was elected President-Elect of SWASFAA, he was not able to fulfill the Delegate position. I look forward to communicating back to my grand financial aid colleagues in the grand State of Texas all the news and events happening in the SWASFAA region. This year the SWASFAA/SASFAA Mid-Level Financial Aid Workshop will be held in a Dallas hotel near the DFW airport. Registration will be held to 60 participants—watch the SWASFAA website for details. The 2005 fall conference and Boot Camp will be in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya. The hotel is 30 minutes north of Albuquerque International Airport and 40 minutes south of Santa Fe. Reminder: the SWASFAA membership dues changed this year from individual to institutional. Hopefully, everyone has remembered to renew their institutions’ dues under the new structure. The membership application is on the SWASFAA website at www.swasfaa.org/docs/forms/mem_app.html. A great way to meet financial aid colleagues and get involved in SWASFAA is to volunteer. I encourage everyone to find your niche in SWASFAA and get involved. Visit www.swasfaa.org/docs/forms/volunteer_app.html to locate the volunteer form. |
