Dear TASFAA,

I have been searching for the words to let you know how very special you made me feel when you placed my name in the TASFAA Hall of Fame. I am truly honored. As I stated that evening when I accepted the award, each of us performs very special work that enables others to pursue dreams. That in turn helps keep this country competitive in the world today and a remarkable place to live and grow. And very special people work in this profession—people who "join hands and cross the finish line together!"

I have my award prominently displayed in my D.C. office near my "Texas wall," a grouping of photos taken by my husband of various places in Texas. They remind me when away from home where home is.

Thank you once again for this honor and for your continued friendship and support.
