Scholarship Winners at TASFAA Conference
Here's what we do best: Help our students succeed!
By Terri Thompson, Weatherford College

I recently attended a conference in Corpus Christi held by TASFAA-The Texas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. While there, I competed for door prizes, and won a $250 Scholarship from the North Texas Higher Education Authority to award to a deserving student at Weatherford College. I have chosen the recipient, and would like to announce the student chosen to receive the scholarship provided by NTHEA is Rachael Acree. Rachael is currently a freshman at Weatherford College, taking General Studies.

She plans to transfer to Oral Roberts University and major in Communications after completing her studies at WC. She is a 2004 graduate of Trinity Christian Academy and the daughter of Tim and Sue Acree of Weatherford. Rachael believes God has planned for her to bring honor to Him through the communications and film-making industry. Weatherford College is proud of Rachael, and the financial aid office is proud to be able to assist her in the pursuit of academic excellence. Congratulations, Rachael!
