TASFAA on the Move

Bank One is pleased to announce that Chris Martin joined the team in July. Chris was previously a consultant with TGSLC. He will be the account manager in the Houston and Austin area.

Kay Mooney was promoted on February 1, 2003, to the position of Director of Financial Aid at Amarillo College. Gayle Ferrell was promoted on July 14, 2003 to the position of Associate Director of Financial Aid at Amarillo College.

Collegiate Funding Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Scott to the position of Director of Business Development. Chris has over 7 years experience as a lender, financial aid counselor and admissions counselor.

At Houston Baptist University, the Financial Aid Office and the Business Office have combined to become the Financial Services Office. Sherry Byrd has been named the Director of Student Aid Programs. Maydene Wells had been named the Director of Financial Services. Virginia McGraw is the new Technical Specialist and Janice Watts has become the Verification Specialist. In addition, Irene Briggs and Donna Ashley have been named Student Financial Aid Advisors. Two new staff members, Kate Potter and Kay Gardener were also named Student Financial Aid Advisors. Debora Burnett is the Assistant Director and Loan Specialist.

Jim Lane has left Texas A&M University to assume the Director's position
at the University of Houston. Jim faithfully served the students of Texas A&M for the past five years. We wish him the best of luck in his new position.

The Brazos Higher Education Service Corp. regretfully announces the resignation of Mark Bray, Loan Servicing Manager in the Austin office. Mark has accepted a position with the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corp. in Austin.

Chase Education First, regretfully announces to the TASFAA community the resignation of Glenn Chance, Executive Director of Southwest Regional Sales. Glenn has accepted a position with another industry participant and will be missed by everyone at Chase Education First, especially by his colleagues in the Southwest Region.
