USA Funds'® Fall 2002 Student Loan Workshops coming to four Texas sites
The USA Funds® Fall 2002 Student Loan Workshops will provide financial-aid professionals across the nation with the most recent information about issues affecting their role in assisting students. Free day-long workshops are scheduled at the following Texas locations:
Workshop participants will hear the latest about federal education-loan policy and regulations, parent loans, education-loan consolidation, federal verification and tax issues, and USA Funds' new electronic newsletter, Education Access Report. Each session also will offer a debt-management seminar, featuring information about USA Funds' debt-management initiatives - including the new PC-based Default Management System (DMS) software - and the new early-awareness program Unlock the FutureTM. Workshop registration and continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m., and the workshops are from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Following lunch, the debt-management seminar concludes the day's activities from 1:15-3:15 p.m. The workshops are presented by USA Funds University, which works on behalf of USA Funds® to offer free seminars, training sessions and conferences throughout the country to help Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) participants improve the financial-aid process.
