TASFAA Vision and Preferred Future
The Association fosters commitment to these activities through
initiatives collectively known as TASFAA’s Preferred Future.
These initiatives are: Training and Education; Technology; Outreach
and Early Awareness; Partnerships; and Legislative.
Training and Education
Training and Education are provided to TASFAA members, and other
constituencies who share our goal of facilitating access to
postsecondary education to all students. The Association’s
commitment to providing quality training opportunities includes
ensuring that members have access to programs offered by our
national association.
Technology
Technology has afforded the Association the ability to provide
its membership with timely and critical communication to help
them conduct their business.
Outreach and Early Awareness
Outreach and Early Awareness encompasses a broad range of initiatives
and projects. Our members work in collaboration with other
associations and organizations to provide mentors and informational
services to schools identified as having large numbers of at
risk students.
Legislative
TASFAA has dedicated members who work along side our state and
national representatives and senators and their staff to ensure
that TASFAA provides accurate and relevant information to federal
and state policy makers.
Partnerships
Partnerships provide a viable avenue for TASFAA to contribute
to many valuable initiatives that serve our constituencies.
Collaborative efforts with many other associations and organizations
provide a uniform front on matters of student lending and access
to higher education.
